Beginnings
Many Moons is a journey and invitation to slow down, ground, share in community, and come back to yourself. After 6+ years of emergency/trauma nursing I (Julia) was feeling disconnected from the healing that brought me to nursing in the first place. So I began to ask myself, “How do I heal? What does healing and health look like to me? When my nervous system is on overdrive how do I calm? When do I feel most free? What am I doing and who am I with?”
As I asked myself these questions I realized that the answers were really quite simple and right in front of me. When I feel activated I go to nature, I try to touch the earth and breath and notice all the little beauties and magic of the world around me. I feel most calm working with my body outside, tending a piece of land, and creating a space that invites community and sharing. Healing and health do not have to happen in a hospital system, they can come in the form of nourishing food, breath work, or a conversation with a friend while weeding a bed of carrots.
I hope you can join me in grounding down and sharing good food. I am so excited you are here and hope to see you on the farm soon.

Sister Farms
Many Moons has its roots deeply connected to its sister farm in Massachusetts, Luna Farm. Run by my sister (Lydia), who taught me so much of what I know when it comes to growing and working with plants, Luna Farm is an event space and herb farm. Together we collaborate on medicinal herbs, tea blends, salves, and generally share knowledge and expertise around food, farming, health, and wellness. Stay tuned for all Luna Farm has to offer!
